Long Life: The 5/8″ thick triple-skinned polycarbonate sheets run continuously across the door for a distinctive appearance. Reinforced ribs with-in the skins make the door strong, rigid and maintain structural stiffness throughout the life of the door.
Added Security: The polycarbonate sheets offer high light transmission and an insulation value comparable to insulated glass. An impact strength of 250 times greater than glass and 30 times greater than acrylic make this door “virtually unbreakable” – adding protection against vandalism and burglary.
Aluminum Frame: Combine all the benefits of polycarbonate sheets with the heavy 0.684 P.F., 6063-T6 aluminum frame and you have one Poly-Tuff Door.
Lightest door on the market: Polycarbonate is 60% lighter than glass thereby having the advantage of putting less wear and tear on the working mechanisms making the Poly-Tuff virtually maintenance-free – simply wash with water and mild detergent.
